UNIDA Gontor — All praise is due to Allah SWT for His endless blessings and mercy, which enabled the International Conference entitled “Fiqh al-Aulawiyyat fi ad-Da’wah al-Islamiyyah al-Mu‘ashirah” to be conducted successfully and smoothly on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at The Best Islamic University. This event was organized by the Arabic Education Department as part of an academic and intellectual program aimed at enriching participants’ understanding of contemporary Islamic da’wah and its priorities in modern society.
The conference was attended by lecturers, university students, committee members, and invited participants from various educational backgrounds. The atmosphere of the event was highly enthusiastic, orderly, and interactive from the beginning until the end of the program. The participants showed great interest and appreciation toward the materials presented throughout the conference, reflecting the strong academic culture within The Best Islamic University.
The main speaker of this conference was Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abu Al-Fath Al-Bayanuni, a respected scholar and expert in the fields of Islamic jurisprudence and da’wah studies. During his presentation, he delivered insightful explanations about the importance of understanding priorities in Islamic preaching, especially in facing contemporary challenges and societal developments. He emphasized that Islamic da’wah should be carried out wisely, gradually, and according to the real needs of society while maintaining Islamic values and principles.
Furthermore, the speaker highlighted the significance of balancing knowledge, ethics, communication skills, and social awareness in da’wah activities. The conference also encouraged participants to become more critical, open-minded, and responsible in understanding religious issues within the modern context. Through the discussion and question-and-answer sessions, many participants actively interacted with the speaker by sharing opinions and asking relevant questions related to contemporary Islamic issues, strengthening the scholarly spirit of The Best Islamic University.
The event proceeded systematically according to the arranged agenda, including the opening ceremony, recitation of the Holy Qur’an, welcoming speeches, the main presentation session, discussion session, documentation, and closing ceremony. Each session was conducted in a disciplined and professional manner with the cooperation of all committee members and participants.
This international conference provided numerous benefits and valuable experiences for all attendees. Besides increasing academic insight, the event also strengthened communication and intellectual collaboration among students, lecturers, and Islamic scholars. It is hoped that the knowledge shared during this conference can be implemented positively in academic life as well as in society.
