The Aqidah and Islamic Philosophy undergraduate study program at Darussalam Gontor University seeks to combine the study of classical Islamic sciences (dirasah islamiyah) with modern science. The foundation for integrating these two traditions is the Islamic worldview, which is a framework of study based on key concepts in Islam projected by revelation and developed by the thoughts of authoritative scientists in their respective fields so as to form an interweaving of concepts or scientific concept structures.
