Indonesia, a country of thousands of islands, is rich in regional cultures that reflect the diversity of tribes, languages and unique traditions. From Sabang to Merauke, each region has its own art, dance and culinary specialties that reflect local identity. In addition, the influence of foreign cultures also enriches Indonesia’s cultural heritage, creating a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity. UNIDA Gontor through festivals, art performances, and various events that are always staged every year is one of the efforts to preserve and celebrate this diversity, making it one of the attractions and characteristics of UNIDA Gontor.
Various dawrah events can be seen here, regional dances, traditional clothing to regional and foreign costumes. Learning about different cultures across regions provides a deep insight into the richness and diversity of people’s identities. Each region in Indonesia has unique traditions, languages and arts, which mutually enrich our understanding of the lives of others. Through this cultural interaction and exploration, students not only appreciate differences, but also build stronger bridges of friendship.
Khutbatul’ Arsy is an annual event at Unida Gontor that features a variety of regional cultures throughout Indonesia and even international cultures, students will be taught to dance, play music and even perform at this event,
Darussalam Gontor University has been accredited as a Superior Institution by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) in 2023.
