The Master of Aqidah and Islamic Philosophy Study Program, Darussalam Gontor University, seeks to combine the study of classical Islamic sciences (dirasah islamiyah) with modern science. The foundation for integrating these two traditions is the Islamic worldview, which is a framework of study based on key concepts in Islam projected by revelation and developed by the thoughts of authoritative scientists in their respective fields so as to form an interweaving of concepts or scientific concept structures.

Development of Critical and Creative Thinking: This mission aims to equip students with the ability to think critically and creatively in understanding and analyzing Islamic teachings and philosophical traditions. Students are expected to explore various theological and philosophical thoughts, and apply them in contemporary contexts.
