Midterm Examination: Momentum to Measure the Academic Quality of Students

In the midst of the busy events of the beginning of the year, which began with the introductory week of Khutbatu l Arshi, Eid al-Adha, and now is the opening of the Midterm Examination of Darussalam Gontor University Class C, which was officially opened on Saturday / June 22, 2024, by Al Ustadz Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nur Hadi Ihan, MIRKH at 06.45 until 07.15. The exam opening ceremony was held at Siti Aminah Field which was attended by all female students and the entire academic community of Darussalam Gontor University Class C. The exam opening ceremony is one of the agendas that must be held before the implementation of the exam. Gontor always teaches its teachers and students to start activities with good intentions, so all activities always begin with intentions and prayers, along with direction and advice. The implementation of the Midterm Examination lasted until June 27, 2024, involving all students from semester 1- 7 as examinees, and the entire academic community as exam supervisors. By using 45 rooms, including spread across the 3rd floor of the Egyptian building, the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Istanbul building, the Palestinian building, and the Iskandaria building.

The midterm exam is a benchmark for students’ understanding and mastery of course material. On this occasion, the Deputy Vice Chancellor said that the midterm exam is an evaluation forum for all of us, evaluating thoughts, knowing the advantages, advantages, virtues, and evaluating whether our learning strategy is good, right, main, and special.

The excitement of female students in welcoming the midterm exam can be seen from the persistence, seriousness, and seriousness of female students in studying and doing exam assignments.
