Now, the relevance of this faculty becomes significant when the discourse on Islamic Economics and Laws flourished in various universities in the world, especially in the Muslim world. That is why the study of sharia, especially on muamalah (Islamic Economics Laws) grows very rapidly.

Islamic Economics Law
This program is established as the response of University of Darussalam Gontor toward rapid development of Islamic Financial Institution. This development is signed by the establishment of Islamic Financial institution such as Islamic Banking, Islamic Insurance, and Islamic Capital Market. Moreover, the development has reached micro-finance by having Islamic Rural Bank. This program is aimed to create Islamic Financial manager who master financial principles and institutions using Islamic values and fiqh-finance analysis. This program, has been acknowledged by Indonesian Government through the decree of National Accreditation Board by grade “Excellent”.

Comparative School of Jurisprudence
By the support of lecturers of Middle East university graduate, the department attempts to prepare scholars who are expert at Fiqh, who master not only Islamic Laws of one school, but also all schools of jurisprudence. It is socially necessary for resolving syariah problem in the society and academically essential for extensive study of Islamic law. In addition to the study of Islamic law the students also learn Indonesian civil and criminal law to broaden their outlook on dealing with legal cases. This department has been recognised by the Government of Indonesia in 2022, under the decree of Board of National Accreditation, with the grade “Excellent”.
