UNIDA Gontor – The Faculty of Humanities of Universitas of Darussalam (UNIDA) Gontor sent one of its faculty lecture, Ustadzah Afni Regita Cahyani Muis, S.IP., M.A., to Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) for a courtesy visit to the School of Social Science at USM. The collaborative meeting took place on Monday (10/03/2025) in the Social Science USM meeting hall.
Welcomed enthusiastically by several functionaries and faculty members of the School of Social Science USM, Ustadzah Afni engaged in discussions about the potential for collaboration between the two institutions.
This courtesy visit aimed to explore opportunities for future cooperation between the Faculty of Humanities and the School of Social Science USM. During her presentation, Ustadzah Afni elaborated on the academic focus and programs offered by the Faculty of Humanities at UNIDA Gontor, particularly its two main study programs: International Relations and Communication Studies.
She highlighted that the International Relations program at UNIDA Gontor offers two concentrations: Global Security and Economy. Meanwhile, the Communication Studies program specializes in Public Relations and Broadcasting.
“In the future, we (the Faculty of Humanities at UNIDA Gontor) hope to maintain and strengthen this valuable relationship by collaborating on research activities, community service programs, and even student exchange initiatives for our mutual development,” stated Ustadzah Afni in her presentation.
Beyond joint research activities, Ustadzah Afni also emphasized the potential for student exchange programs and community service research collaborations between the Faculty of Humanities at UNIDA Gontor and the School of Social Science at USM. These initiatives serve as the foundation of academic excellence in higher education.(RA)
