Characteristics

The salient feature of this department is discernible from its focus on preparing competent graduates in the field of nutrition, both nationally and internationally who have a great attention on the study of halal food. Therefore, Islamic study is one of the most important subject in the curriculum of this department. In its attempt to gain international reputation, this department collaborates with the University of Gadjah Mada, a well known state university in Indonesia, by which students could get the latest and the most advanced nutritional science.
