Department of Pharmacy

The department combines the study of medical science and chemistry. This study has the responsibility of ensuring the effectiveness and safety of drug use. The scope of the practice of pharmacy includes traditional and modern pharmacy. Traditional pharmacy related to blending and providing drugs, while the modern one related to services to patients, such as clinical services, evaluation of the efficacy and safety of drugs use, as well as providing drug information. The department is expected to be a means for the development of science and technology which will play great role in producing qualified human resource, who has a high capability of becoming the future leaders and the motor of Indonesian economic growth, particularly in the health sector.

Department of Nutrition Science

Nutrition science is a branch of science that studies the relationship between the food consumed and the physical health as well as its influential factors. This branch of science is required due to the increasing problems arising from the epidemiological transition in the field of nutrition, the rapid growth of food industry, and the demands on quantity and quality of institution for the service of nutrition and food. The department was established with the vision to produce professional Bachelor of Nutrition with International reputations, who has scientific and practical ability to cope with double nutritional problems that occur both in Indonesia and other countries. This departments educates students to be nutrition professionals who possess Islamic morality, high integrity on the development of nutritional science and technology.

Department of Occupational Safety and Health

Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) is a study on identification of factors leading to accident in workplace and managing the safety and health of the worker to help them work effectively and efficiently. Basic considerations of the establishment of this department (for Diploma IV) is to meet and respond the increasing demand on OSH in the workplace of both formal and informal industry with national and international scale. This department is a vocational education program with the percentage of 60:40 for practice and theory respectively. The program prepares graduates who have managerial skills for analysing and applying management system of OSH according to the rule and regulation.
