Islamic Economics
The Islamic Economics Study Program implements a policy of integrating classroom teaching with research and community service (integration of the three pillars of higher education). The implementation of this integration is managed within a pesantren system, with an ideology of developing knowledge based on the Islamization of science. Through this approach, graduates of the Islamic Economics Study Program are expected to have the ability to solve economic problems of the ummah with a noble pesantren spirit and knowledge based on Islamic values. The development of knowledge rooted in Islamization and the internalization of the pesantren spirit with a community-oriented approach is what is referred to as the fountain of wisdom in economic sciences.
Management
Founded on knowledge, practice, and excellence (ilmu, amal, and ihsan), the Management Study Program emphasizes four key aspects: education, management science instruction, research and community service, and pesantren-based activities. The pesantren activities aim to develop soft skills and social awareness rooted in the values of Panca Jiwa, Panca Jangka, and the motto of Darussalam Gontor University. Students' capabilities are honed through various assignments focused on managerial, business, and entrepreneurial practices over four years within the pesantren campus system.
