Information Technology is integration of science and information technology that specifically addresses the issue of transformation or data processing by utilizing computer technology through logical processes. The subjects mostly studied in this department are programming, computing, software engineering for various application in different business sectors, and computer network technology.



This department has distinctive character compared to the same department in other universities, because its core competency is the mastery and application of information technology in the decision making, operation, and advanced application development. All those competencies are integrated and designed to meet the needs of Muslim society related to study, research, and the practice of Islamic religion.
