Intensive briefing for 30th graduation candidates of UNIDA Gontor
UNIDA GONTOR – University of Darussalam (UNIDA) Gontor held Intensive Briefing Week (Mu’asykar) of the 30th Graduation Candidates on Wednesday, 18 July 2018. The event was attended by 75 graduate candidates of the undergraduate program of Siman Campus and was officially opened by the Leader of Darussalam Gontor Modern Islamic Institution (PMDG), KH. Hasan Abdullah Sahal, and Rector of UNIDA Gontor, Prof. Dr. Amal Fathullah Zarkasyi, M.A.
The undergraduate candidates briefing program held from 18 to 24 July 2018 consisisted of scientific–and–religion–based activities facilitated by UNIDA Gontor lecturers who are experts in their respective fields. In addition, the event is an implementation of University of Darussalam Gontor’s concerns towards its alumni who will face challenges life is offering.
Candidates of this year 30th Graduation are the first graduate batch of University of Darussalam Gontor from Faculty of Social Sciences and Public Affairs. The event was coordinated by Azhar Nor, S.Pd as the Chief of Committee and UNIDA Gontor staffs who had attended the Intensive Briefing Week (Mu’asykar) last year and was full of rapport among the participants.
The candidates were invited to recount (istikdhor) their experiences when they were studying at Darussalam Gontor Modern Islamic Institution. Appointing members of organizing committee, preparing for accountability report, serving as imam of jama’ah prayer, participating in kultum, etc. are the manifestation of the istikhdor concept (immersing in the atmosphere). At the end of the event, the participants were given token of appreciation in the form of prizes to the best participant namely Yogi Maaldini and a group led by Ilham Chabibi was named The Best Group.
